The Royal Aeronautical Society New Zealand Division will, subject to confirmation, again offer its popular Air Transport Course.
Date: Planned for November 2008
Venue: University of Auckland
The course is designed for middle management and senior supervisors involved in all aspects of the air transport spectrum. These include government agencies dealing with air transport policy and operations. Course members will gain insights into all aspects of the air transport industry from a panel of distinguished lecturers from within the international industry and from academia. Those attending previous courses have come from engineering, supply, operations, flight crew, finance and administrative areas of the airline industry, aviation consultants, airfield operators and regulatory and policy agencies of governments. Whilst the majority of those attending the course are from the New Zealand aviation industry, there have also been representatives from Australia, Tonga, Kiribati, Samoa and Singapore.
For those in the UK who might find the course attractive, a special package has been negotiated with Air New Zealand. Including the course fee, accommodation, all breakfasts and lunches, the cost is approximately £1500 economy travel and £3000 business class travel.
